This all-day urban retreat is dedicated to every woman who suffers from PMS or wants to learn more about their monthly cycle. Join Jennifer Helland, Pat Harada Linfoot, Maya Goldenberg, and Dr. Lara Jacob as they weave together their expertise and passion for women’s health to offer you an abundant day of education and self-care. Gain knowledge and new tools to decrease PMS symptoms and support your monthly cycle.

The day will include:

  • Flow Yoga and Restorative Yoga plus Sound Bath with Jennifer Helland and Kiko Sounds
    Jennifer will be teaching a gentle flowing yoga practice in the morning and a Restorative Yoga practice in the afternoon. In our Restorative Yoga class, Jen will use therapeutic movements and sequences to create greater mobility, followed by nourishing restorative postures that balance the nervous system and stimulate healing. Adding sound to deepen the restorative state. Sound baths are a shared meditative experience where crystal singing bowls, gongs and tuning forks are played in a harmonic arrangement with the intention of encouraging therapeutic results in the listener’s body. Through hearing and feeling the harmonic vibrations of sound, the body is able to enter deeper states of rest that help with relaxation, stress reduction, expand feelings of well being and profound states of creative awareness.
  • Holistic Nutrition with Jennifer Helland, CNP
    PMS can manifest physically, emotionally, and/or mentally and how it manifests is unique to each of us. As a Holistic Nutritionist, Jennifer will share “Six Steps to Balancing Your Blood Sugar Levels.” Learning to consistently stabilize blood sugar can play a major role in reducing PMS symptoms no matter how they manifest and keep us feeling more “balanced” all month long.
  • Meditation with Pat Harada Linfoot
    Meditation is an asset when it comes to staying present and open to the changes and fluctuations of your monthly cycle. “We learn to be intimate with our bodies, breath, thoughts and emotions. Meditation is being rather than doing; it is a process of learning to stay, learning to let go and learning to start over.”
  • Skin and Body Care Lesson with Maya Goldenberg, Eco-Beauty Specialist
    Maya has been working in the skincare industry for over 15 years. She will be giving a skincare and essential oil lesson designed to address PMS symptoms such as skin changes, acne, headaches, and fatigue. Maya will be using products from her all-natural, eco-friendly, non-toxic, plant-based skincare line KAVANA.
  • Lunch and Learn with Naturopathic Doctor Lara Jacob
    Lara specializes in women’s health and is passionate about supporting women as they journey through each stage of life. Her lunch and learn talk will focus on 3 contributing factors to PMS (flow foes!) and practical tips for a healthy period.
  • Organic, Vegan Lunch will be provided
