This 8-week workshop series has been created for individuals living with chronic pain from injury, illness or autoimmune disorder. Together we will explore ways to navigate the physical, mental and emotional pathways that pain moves through the body by experiencing ancient yogic techniques through a modern lens of awareness.

Previous yoga experience is not necessary.
Our studio space is accessible for students of all abilities.

Investment: $120 / 8-week series. Subsidies available for un/under-employed

About Amanda: Amanda has been on the path of healing for most of her life. She was first introduced to Yoga in her early adolescence when diagnosed with severe scoliosis. Since that time, Amanda has studied herbal medicine, aromatherapy, Zen shiatsu and various meditation techniques. For the past decade Amanda has been dedicated to teaching yoga full time, while continuing to expand her understanding of the human body through continuing education in yoga, pilates and her work as a birth doula. In 2018 Amanda was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and has taken the opportunity to deepen her understanding of yoga, community and personal wellbeing. Amanda’s classes are infused with knowledge, reverence and a healthy dose of humour.
