Guidelines
- Practice on an empty stomach. Wait at least 2 hours after eating (longer if possible). A full stomach can hinder the practice of postures and breathing.
- Try to arrive at least ten to fifteen minutes before class to have time to change, arrange your mat, and settle in.
- Please do not wear perfume or cologne as many people are allergic or sensitive.
- Please remove your shoes at the door. Wear flexible, non-binding clothing that is appropriate to season and temperature. Clothes that are form-fitting allow the teacher to see the student’s alignment. Keep your feet bare.
- Turn all cell phones and pagers off in the studio.
- Inform the teacher before class if you have any injuries or other physical concerns. Inform the teacher if you are pregnant.
- Please be considerate and pick up after yourself. If you use props or mats, please return them to where you found them.
- Keep voices low when socializing in the lounge area as other classes may still be in progress.
