Ian Gardner has been practicing yoga since 2001 and completed the 200-Hour and 300-Hour Teacher Trainings at Octopus Garden. He is also a Thai Massage practitioner and instructor with the Lotus Palm School of Thai Yoga Massage.
With a love of animals, wide open spaces, and nature, Ian views yoga as a wonderful way to connect more deeply with life; from the day-to-day interactions with those around him to a broader, deeper attention to nature, the planet, and our place in it. He feels that beyond our human lives, we are interconnected to the elements around us and we have an opportunity to contribute to a healthier world, starting with caring for ourselves, inside and out.
Ian brings a playful, intentional, restorative attitude and a sense of strength and ease to his teaching. He is always a student; curious, ever-learning; always seeking greater understanding and freedom of movement. He is deeply grateful and excited to assist others, through yoga and meditation, to find the warmth in their hearts, the fire in their souls, and to foster a deeper love of the world around them.
