As a dancer, Rebecca has always been passionate about finding creative ways to move in space, while maintaining healthy alignment of the body. However, it wasn’t until she endured a serious concussion that her yoga and meditation practice moved to the forefront of her day-to-day life, instrumental not only to her physical recovery, but also her mental health.
As she deepened her practice, Rebecca was able to see the world through an alternate lens—one that was more compassionate, patient, and kind. Naturally, this led her to complete both her 200 and 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training as well as Restorative Training through Octopus Garden Holistic Yoga Centre in Toronto, Ontario. Rebecca acknowledges her role as a student is never-ending and she continuously seeks to deepen her connection to life through varied artistic means. As a teacher, Rebecca hopes to create a safe and welcoming space where yoga practitioners of all levels will feel curious, playful, and inspired by the magic this practice can offer.
