Megan Janzen is a relational therapist in clinical training at the Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy, a psychotherapy training program accredited by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Her goal is to provide a space where the client is safe to explore, be accepted, and face challenges together.
Megan believes that every individual experiences brokenness and that there is transformational power in being heard with compassion and empathy. Her training in relational psychotherapy informs a therapeutic process that places the focus on the journey as it unfolds. Megan’s client work is supervised off-site by experienced faculty psychotherapists. She is a member of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy (CAPT) and abides by its code of ethics. Megan completed a one-year training program for professionals at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto and has a BA in Conflict Resolution Studies from the University of Winnipeg. Her approach is client-centered, feminist, anti-oppressive, sex-positive, and LGBTQ*-affirmative.
